Oh Wow....

Have you ever done something and you thought you believed in that thing or your endeavor that you were pursuing and when things did not go exactly the way you planned, well you weren't disappointed about it? (Mouthful Yeesh).
Or maybe you embarked on a journey that you were excited about but a little skeptical about and things actually worked out?

I think we all have encountered at least one of these two situations. I know that I have. Having that "Oh Wow It Actually Worked Out!" or "Oh wow....." moment. Sometimes we plan as far as we believe we will be able to achieve or give ourselves to something that Sounds like a great idea at the time but we don't really see it working out. I believe personally this saves us from disappointment. But we don't plan for success. For example: After graduation, I applied for a few different jobs in my city as well as outside my city (But still in state). But it was really hap-hazard applying because I did not plan for if I received the interview or even the position. After a couple of weeks my expectation of those positions I applied for began to wither away. Months later when I did receive an interview for a position I applied for outside my city that was in a county about an hour and some change away it threw me off a little bit. Or another personal example. I applied for a graduate program in my city as well as one out of state. I was (internally) expecting acceptance from the in-state college and that was the one I began to plan around. But that was the one that did not accept me.

As people who try to stay as comfortable as possible and try to not to be let down, we have to give ourselves and our goals 100% dedication. If you're working toward a goal or anything really don't internally self-doubt. You know if you don't truly believe in yourself if you get to a point where you say "Well, I didn't really plan to get this far." Go at that thing like you know for a fact it will work. Plan for your success.

Just Something I thought about a few days ago. Hopefully gives you something to think about.
Until Next Time -Riah
