Meet The Author

Hi! I'm Mariah and I am the author of See and Be ThoughtFull. I'm a millennial, a make-up junkie, a Clinical Mental Health Masters Graduate. I'm silly, loving, and friendly person (I mean look at that face 😌). My looks change because I experiment with my hair and makeup but I consider it my way of being artistic?

I started this blog because I decided it was time to let people in. I had a hard time expressing my thoughts and feelings growing up and written words worked for me. Deciding to start this blog was scary for a number of reasons (to be listed another day!) but I stepped out on faith and here we are! Power in Words: was intentional as a link name because it's true. I feel as though words and our attitudes have the power to change our mindset and situation if we let it. I write to share with others what I'm learning about myself but also to come back and remind myself to practice what I preeeach! My hope is that you feel empowered to See your best self and appreciate who you are and Be the best version of you even if that means it needs a little tweaking sometimes!

Ultimately, I want us to share our experiences and create a space that we can learn about ourselves and learn from each other. Let's have fun together 💓
