When Life Hands You.....
A few years back, my family went through a major change. Something that I think we are still recovering from today and we will continue to evolve and work through. I believe that this change really shed light on some of the things my family could work in which of course none of us are perfect. But also that we are not exempt from anything...
Life has an interesting way of exposing what we think we cover up well when in reality it's still there just not being acknowledged. Sometimes it take a major switch to show us what it is or where it is that we truly lack in so we can pick up our faces and start to work on ourselves now that we truly see where the problem lies. As a christian, I believe that God uses those close to us and even the events in our lives to show us that we aren't perfect, but its okay. He is willing to work with us if we acknowledge our shortcomings and aren't afraid to actively work on it with him.

Me? I know I'm not perfect... But life has made me cash a lot of reality checks. What I would like to leave you with? When Life hands you a reality check? Invest it. It can only make you better. I am an investment. You are an investment. Don't rip up a valuable life check, especially if its one that hurts you. Pain is temporary, but a life lesson can last forever. Take every chance to learn about yourself and be better every chance you get.

Very good Blog....
ReplyDeleteI to believe that God will use those close to us and even the events and short comings in our lives to show us that we aren't perfect. True we do need to acknowledge our shortcomings and be not afraid to actively work on them with the help of our Heavenly Father. Our life is truly not our own. It will be full of life's challenges. Your shortcomings or past mistakes all have consequences but they don't define who you are.
Sharing caring and forgiving is truly what life is about. In one way or another we will all experience pain but we have to make a choice to live a defeated depressed life or a lesson learned Victorious life. It's not the mistake nor shortcomings that matter it's how you deal with it, what you learn from it and how you apply that lesson to your life. Many times what we perceive as an error or failure is actually a gift. And eventually we find that lessons learned from that discouraging experience prove to be of great worth.
