Happy New Year!

Wow, it's amazing to think that we have just entered into a new year with new adventures and new opportunities. With this in mind, today has been a very reflective day for me. Reflecting on the past, my choices, things I have done and have yet to do but also things that I would like to either change or begin to implement in my life. Hopefully if you haven't already you will begin to think about what changes you want to make. Maybe you don't want to change anything which is completely fine. So here's some things that I began to think about:

1. The people I have in my life.
Last year for me was a year of changes in relationships. I really began evaluating my relationships such family, friends, and personal. My family is constantly evolving and with everything that has happened in the past, it is interesting to see evolution of a new family dynamic. Those whom I call friends and interact with are priceless. I know that God has placed each one in my life for a specific reason and I'm glad to be surrounded by them. I would hope that I reciprocate the same love and wisdom that I receive often. My personal relationship is something that is always a work in progress or a learning experience.

2. My decisions and choices
It's hard to make a decision then stick with it without second guessing or thinking was that decision worth it. This year I would like to be better at decision making and even thinking about and being secure in my decisions. This year has a lot of changes ahead so this is something that must be worked on and continue to be a work in progress.

3. Life in General
I know, I know this is pretty common. New Year new me kind of thing, but that's not what I mean. I'm more of talking about my life and it's direction. I will be soon graduating from college and I have to make decisions of what to do next (besides work and pay back loans). And this is more of a put on my big girls pants and do what needs to be done. So new year, new goals and life events but same me.

Hopefully you have given this year some thought. What are your goals? But then going past your goals and making a plan to achieve those goals. Because without a plan those goals are somewhat wishful thinking.

Happy New Year everyone :)
